Hi, I’m Namrata (Nami) Motwani, the Founder and Coach at Veritas Debate Academy Inc. (VDA), passionate about speech, debate, and civic engagement. At VDA, I am committed to expanding access to high-quality debate education because I believe every student deserves the opportunity to develop strong critical thinking and confident public speaking skills. With over seven years of competitive debate experience and awards at regional and national levels, I am continually inspired by the curiosity and determination of the students I mentor.
Beyond debate, I love creative writing and researching public policies. Through my research with professors at UC Irvine and USC, I applied analytical, data-driven problem-solving to address complex societal challenges. My long-term goal is to use rigorous, evidence-based research to address inequalities and improve outcomes in education, health, economics, and governance, shaping policies that create meaningful, lasting societal impact.
At my core, I am driven by a commitment to service and a belief that true impact comes from empowering others and creating opportunities for growth. For me, coaching and mentoring is more than teaching skills. It is about helping students discover their potential and gain the confidence to make a difference in their communities.
